Associate Minister - CSL Dallas

CSLDallas, a Center for Spiritual Living and a beacon of spiritual growth, inclusivity, and Science of Mind education in Dallas, Texas since 1963, is seeking an Associate Minister to join our vibrant ministry, empowered staff, and diverse community. With a history of dynamic expansion and a commitment to excellence, cutting-edge organizational design, innovative technology, social justice, passionate outreach, and sacred service, we are looking for someone to bring their passion for spiritual leadership to a place that breathes love and acceptance.

Things you might not know about Dallas and the DFW Metroplex 

The DFW Metroplex of 8+ million people, is richly diverse, a melting pot of cultures, religions, and lifestyles. 44 languages and 172 nationalities, along with every religion and spirituality are present. CSLDallas is in north Dallas in a very diverse neighborhood right next to the popular and growing city of Addison with its 175 restaurants as well as clubs, comedy, and shopping! The general cost of living is still reasonably low in the area and the diverse economy has withstood the impact of 911, the tech bubble bursting, various financial crises, and the influx of corporate headquarters along with their employees. The most surprising thing about Dallas may be how green it is, with trees and parks and a new Trinity River area that will be the largest urban park including the largest urban forest in the US. Dallas has a rich nightlife, philanthropic heartbeat, and the largest HRC black-tie dinner in America. CSLDallas Purpose: - Radically Inclusive, Spiritually Progressive, Transforming Lives

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Partner with the Spiritual Director to create exciting experiences, programming and initiatives that support CSLDallas mission and community while working together to unfold CSLDallas’ future.
• Spiritual Guidance: Deliver dynamic talks, create inspirational and deepening offerings. lead meditations and retreats, and support the spiritual development of our diverse congregation, both online and in person.
• Educational Leadership: Contribute to the CSLDallas Education program by teaching classes and workshops that inspire personal, spiritual, and leadership growth.
• Social Justice and Community Engagement: Furthering our passion for social justice, inclusion, and awakening humanity to its spiritual magnificence.
• Growth: Develop and nourish the ongoing health, vibrancy, and growth of our Center through donor relations, vibrant volunteer programs, fund-raising, expanding our online presence, and embracing technology while creating high-touch community engagement.
• Transformative Organization: Expand CSLDallas as we continue to move beyond “church” to a leading-edge spiritual Center using a circular, collaborative organizational design for leadership while offering gatherings and experiences throughout the week.

Qualifications:

• Must be ordained (or close to it) and in good standing with a recognized New Thought organization.
• A deep understanding of Universal/Science of Mind principles and a desire to embody and teach these truths.
• A commitment to personal development and growth, a willingness to make mistakes, and a desire to continually grow as a minister and leader.
• Demonstratable background in strategic organizational management, big-picture thinking, managing staff & resources, and delegation with an eye for the details in operational execution.
• Proven experience in inspirational speaking, spiritual leadership, in-person & online teaching, community engagement, volunteer development, and donor relations.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead and work collaboratively within a team.
• Willing to make a long-term commitment to CSLDallas.
